Many talented and willing hands were busy for the past month cleaning and spiffing up the parsonage for the arrival of our new Pastor on February 6.

Thanks go to the painting, staining, “demolition,” fixing, and moving crew:  Ken Scott, Les Perlee, John Lehner, Bob Gardner, Alan Holmes, John DelSignore, Ron Valenti, Peter Ford, Kevin Ramsey, Rick Wallace, Paul Szakats,  Jim Faddegon and probably others.

The women of the church pitched in to wash windows, woodwork, curtains, floors, cabinetry, appliances and so on.  They pressed the curtains and hung them back up, waxed floors, removed carpets, sanded steps, prepared welcome gifts, and so on.  Many thanks to Barb Valenti, Sue Felpel, Carol Holmes, Ann Duncan, Karen Goddard, Bonnie Wood, Thelma Ford, Trudy Lehner, Kim Cerone, Monica Tryon, Diane Pechulis, Lynn DelSignore, Mary Park-Flanders and probably other women too….

The results were nothing short of spectacular and extra special thanks go to Ron Ricard, Chair of the NRC Property Committee, who coordinated all of the tasks with not only the volunteers, but also the outside contractors who upgraded electricals and plumbing, raised the upstairs railing posts to improve safety, and sanded and refinished hardwood flooring in both the upstairs and downstairs hallways.  Timing was spot on as we finished the last of the work with no time to spare!  THANKS RON and all of our hardworking volunteers!!!
