Please Join us on Sunday to Bid a Fond Farewell to The Rev. Paul Ferenczy
It’s time for ‘movin’ on’ for both our Interim Pastor and for our congregation. We’ve been privileged to be led for the past 18 months by the Rev. Paul Ferenczy. He’s had an enormous impact on all of us, both personally and as a congregation. There’s no doubt that we’re in a much better place today than on the day he came to us. Because we have successfully come through our transition period and selected our next full-time pastor, it is time to bid “Pastor Paul” a very fond farewell. Please join us for his final service with us on Sunday, January 31, to be followed by a Potluck Coffee Hour/Brunch in Fellowship Hall to express our appreciation and good wishes.
Please bring a brunch-type dish to share. A Celebration Cake and beverages will be provided. You may also want to bring a card/letter with some sentiment of what his time with us has meant to you personally. (If you care to do so, you might also want to enclose a monetary gift with your card, or add to a collection that Ellen is taking. As many of you know, Paul doesn’t have the next job lined up yet, so please remember that when considering a monetary donation. He’s been very generous with us, so this is our last opportunity to show him our gratitude. So far, we have received very few contributions. Please remember it is this SUNDAY so drop off your donations to Ellen ASAP. Your cards can be brought on Sunday and placed in the basket we’ll have out for those.
THANK YOU for remembering that God asks us to care for one another.
