Niskayuna Reformed Church served lunch at the Schenectady Salvation Army soup kitchen on September 14th. We re-used a menu that was enjoyed by all during the month of August when we served a menu of chicken and beef barbeque with coleslaw and potato chips. Fruit cocktail and chocolate chip cookies were served along with the main dish. A total of 173 attendees were served with 20 guests returning for seconds. Many thanks and compliments were offered to NRC volunteers Bill Dodge, Kathy Dzamba, Karen Moak, Sharon Thompson, Barbara Valenti and Tiffanie Wood who planned, shopped, baked, mixed and dished the meal.
