Women’s Fellowship Group

The Women’s Fellowship Group meets at 10:00 am- 12:00 pm each second Thursday of the month to work together on an activity or craft intended as an act of love for others.  Projects have included making fleece blankets and pillows for the Military Courtesy Room at the Albany Airport, fleece baby blankets and pillowcases for Women’s Shelters, fabric tote bags for our seniors and shut-ins, greeting cards for various purposes, annual spring clean-up at the NRC cemetery.

The group often teams up with the Mission & Service Committee, the Membership Committee, the Congregational Care Committee and the children of the Sunday School to carry out a variety of service efforts such as holiday packages and cards for our shut-ins, and other mission projects.  Annually the group hosts a MoonCatcher Bee, where community volunteers work together to make reusable feminine hygiene products for women and girls in various areas of Africa.

Watch for more information about the meetings in the monthly Messenger, the weekly Bulletin, and the weekly e-mail newsletters, or contact the Church Office.
