The Niskayuna Reformed Church Pastoral Search Committee was selected and approved by Consistory on April 15, commissioned in Church on May 3 and is now hard at work discerning God’s plan for our future. The committee consists of:

Dominic Adriano, John Bennett (co-chair), Deborah Bennett, Andrew Burger, Lynn Del Signore, Linda Gebhardt (clerk), Lauren Groudine, David Jones, Trudy Lehner (chair), Ron Ricard, Eleanor Van Pelt and Bonnie Wood, along with Clergy Supervisor Rev. Stacey Midge of 1st Reformed Schenectady and our own Interim Pastor, Rev. Paul Ferenczy, and Elder Supervisor Kit Jackson of the Altamont Reformed Church.

The group has been meeting every other week and is currently using the input gathered from the congregation for the recent Transition Report to prepare our Church Profile. Once completed and approved, the Profile will be distributed to potential candidates by the RCA Denominational Office in New York City, and the search will begin in earnest.
