Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM) is a vital local organization. SICM continues to sustain important community programs and start new initiatives. This year, SICM is celebrating it’s “Jubilee Year” of service and ministry in our community. In honor of SICM’s 50th anniversary, we need your help to increase our monthly food and cash donations to the Emergency Food Program by 50 lbs. in food donations and $50 in cash. Please consider donating $1 to the Food Pantry, and place a nonperishable food item or items in the food baskets each month. Your participation in our 50/50 Food Drive will help us to reach out monthly goal of 50+ lbs of food and $50 to purchase fresh food from the NE Regional Food Bank. We gave 48 lbs/$5 (cash donation) in January and 49 lbs/$13 (cash). Thank you to everyone for your continued support in helping to feed the hungry and providing hope to our neighbors in need.
