- Volunteers needed to help serve summer lunches as part of the SICM summer lunch program in Schenectady and Scotia. Our church has been assigned the week of July 29-August 2, from 11:15-1:30 PM. We will need 3 volunteers per day. Additionally, we engage participating children in a variety of activities -reading, playing games, etc. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide fellowship with children and families in our community. Please contact Michele Kopp if you are available to participate.
- The SICM Food Pantry needs our support to maintain its commitment to feeding the hungry. The need for food donations has risen as more families are participating in this program while the cost of healthy food has increased. The M & SC has come up with a monthly food collection plan-each month, we will focus on collecting one specific food item. If you prefer, monetary support is always welcome. There is a green located in the narthex for that purpose. July: peanut butter
