- The SICM Food Pantry needs our support to maintain its commitment to feeding the hungry. The need for food donations has risen as more families are participating in this program while the cost of healthy food has increased. The M & SC has come up with a monthly food collection plan-each month, we will focus on collecting one specific food item. If you prefer, monetary support is always welcome. There is a green box located in the narthex for that purpose. September: canned spaghetti sauce October: baby wipes, diapers & baby food (no glass containers)

- Many thanks to our NRC volunteers who worked diligently to serve over 200 meals at the Schenectady City Mission on September 9th. Many families and children were present to enjoy Sloppy Joe’s, mac and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs and traditional chicken-our staff had to be quick on their feet in order to keep up. The kindness and energy of Ron and Barb Valenti, Jeff Rivenburg, Lynne Barnard-Avveduti, Joan Peebles and Sam Fornaro is to be commended.
