The SICM summer lunch program is counting on our NRC to help serve lunches this summer.  We have 2 opportunities available this year: The week of July 23-27 AND the week of August 13-17.  We are still at the Wallingford Park site in Mt. Pleasant and hours will be 12-1:45. We need 3 volunteers each day.  This could be a good opportunity for our middle and high schoolers to get involved as well. Please check your calendars to see if you might have a day or two to help us out. Contact Michele Kopp at (518)424-3825 or mishcata@gmail.com after June 10 if you are able to join us.

SICM is requesting that we donate children’s books for the Summer Meals Program. There is a suggested reading list. Please see the Mission & Service Committee bulletin boards for ideas. Please donate ONLY children’s books. You can start dropping your books off NOW. The books are due by Sunday, July 22nd. There is a basket in the Fellowship Hall marked for your book donations.
