Native American Studies at the Nursery School

native american day #5

Our 4 year old class has been learning about Native American culture this month in preparation for Thanksgiving.  The children have had a great time playing in our homemade teepee and longhouse as well as making headdresses, drums and bead necklaces!  Karen Goddard also paid a special visit to the classroom in order to share items such as feathers, arrowheads, antlers and animal furs with the class.  We would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving this year!

Arrowheads-how exciting!
