Read Psalm 84:1-7
Camp Fowler is a place that feels like home to me. I always feel so welcomed by not just the people, but also the lake, the trees, the paths, and the mountains. At this moment I can place myself in the big room at Chi Ro lodge, my morning coffee and the fire blazing behind me warms me up as I gaze out the window into the trees. The snow slowly falls, blanketing the ground just outside that window. There is an intense feeling of God’s enduring love as I ponder the presence of my creator. It is this feeling that my heart and flesh cry out for today. I want to dwell in the house of the Lord, not just at Camp Fowler, but every day.
Is your soul yearning for God? Ask God to be present with you in the space you are in right now. Allow God to envelope you in love in a way that only God can.
