Palm Sunday Zoom Worship Service

Posted on

Hello Everyone:

We will be gathering for worship again on Palm Sunday at 9:30 am via Zoom, a web-conference platform. Plan on logging in five to ten minutes early to make sure all is working properly. As we are aware that not everyone has access to internet, there also an option for people to call in using their telephone.

Here are the instructions for accessing the service on Sunday along with a copy of the bulletin and hymns.

Please click the link here to join us: You can join on your desktop, laptop, your tablet, or your smartphone.

If you wish to participate by phone, please dial 1 929 205 6099 and when prompted, enter the Meeting ID number, 470 640 2522. When prompted for Personal ID, just press the # key.

Please share this information with others if you think they might not get the message.

Due to our worship being a public gathering, all are welcome, even while we are online. With the increasing popularity of Zoom for online gatherings, some people have taken it upon themselves to “crash the party”, it’s called Zoombombing. In order to keep our worship open and easy to access, we will keep our current meeting ID. If it becomes necessary, we can change the meeting ID every week and require a password. I hope it doesn’t come to that. At this point, I am doing what I can to limit the possibility of any tomfoolery. In addition, use the link provided in this email or on the website and do not click on any links someone may provide the chatroom of our meeting. Another way we must be safe in this crisis.

If you have any questions before Sunday, please contact Pastor Jason. If you have trouble logging in on Sunday, try phoning a friend in the congregation to see if they might be able to help.

A reminder that you can give your offering online or mail your envelopes to the church office.

Look forward to Zoom with you on Sunday!
