Our 42nd Annual Flea Market is on Saturday, September 22nd from 9am – 4pm. There are still spots available, if you are interested in being a vendor. Attached is the information sheet and contract. The third annual MoonCatcher Bee at NRC will be held in Fellowship Hall. The MoonCatcher Project, a Schenectady-based organization founded in 2011, provides free reusable, washable menstrual pads that can be worn without underwear for girls in the poorest communities worldwide. These pads provide a way for girls to stay in school while menstruating, giving them a greater chance of completing their education. Even if you can’t sew, you can participate in and enjoy a MoonBee. There are useful jobs for everyone, skilled or unskilled. All materials and equipment are provided. However, if you have a sewing machine that you would like to bring, more are always helpful. Good scissors can also come in handy! Cotton fabrics are always welcome as well.

The dates for the upcoming bible study “Commonly Misunderstood Verse in the Bible” have changed. Our first study will take place on Monday, October 1st at 7pm. Each week there will be a study on Monday at 7pm and Thursday at 1pm, both will be the same lesson. The final study will be on Thursday, October 25th at 1pm.
