Each month you will find an envelope in your offering box labeled “Building Fund.”  Your contributions to this fund are used to pay down the principal on the mortgage for our Education Building.

At the end of February, the balance on our mortgage was just under $345,000.  In addition to making monthly mortgage payments of $3,946, once each year we use the funds contributed to the “Building Fund” to make an extra payment that helps to further reduce the remaining principal on this debt.  By paying down the principal, we are also able to reduce our monthly payments for the next year.
