Many thanks to our NRC volunteers who helped bring joy and laughter to the Faith Deliverance Tabernacle Church summer meal site.  What we lacked in sheer numbers, we more than made up for in energetic entertainment for 5 very active  1-4 year olds from a local daycare!  The heat was oppressive, but these tots were all about play -our bucket of toys was the main event!  Additionally, we met an extended non English speaking family from Venezuela, now residing in Motel 8 in Rotterdam.  SiCM and our volunteers worked together to help get them necessary supplies, clothing and toys/books for the children. They walked to our site everyday (took 1hour) for lunch and a chance to learn more about their new home.
