Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM) is celebrating their 50th anniversary!  This will be a special event held at the Glen Sanders Mansion on the evening of March 20, 2018.  SICM has initiated programs such as Project SAFE, Bethesda House, Schenectady Food Pantry, and Summer Meals Program, to name a few.  Today SICM’s programs/ministries focus in three areas:  (1) food insecurity (hunger); (2) family, seniors and youth; and (3) diversity and acceptance.   All NRC members are invited to attend SICM’s Jubilee Celebration.  Our relationship with this organization has existed for many years and it provides support to many local families.  We are looking forward to a great turnout from our congregation, and hopefully there will be representation from all our different committees.  Please contact any member of the M&SC if you would like to  attend this very special event.  Thank you.
